3D Garden Design Ltd is based in the small picturesque village of Kilmacolm, Inverclyde. The company is run by 4 Directors; Iain Dickson, Andrew Dickson, Hector Dickson and Brett Young. Founded by the three ‘D’s; Iain, Andrew and Hector the company quickly grew and was joined in early 2006 by Brett. Our aim as a small company is to endeavor to create gardens of original beauty which will develop and stand the test of time. Our commitment is to quality and reliability. Iain moved on to a short career in the merchant navy as a deck cadet officer working in such far off places as Dubai and Singapore. On return to cooler climes Iain graduated from Strathclyde University/Scottish Agricultural College, Ayr with a BSc in Landscape Management and Design gaining particular interest, skills and awards in garden design. A six month spell traveling in Australia was followed by a one year spell working for a landscape company in the north of Scotland. Then, on moving back home to the central belt the idea of setting up in business as 3D Garden Design Ltd along with his brother and uncle was born. Andrew Dickson BA A similar start to working life as his brother, Andrew too worked at the local garden centre giving him a good general knowledge of all things horticultural. |
